I don't see anything achieved in the private sector in manned missions as remarkable. They got their tin can in space and lived to tell about it.

And anyone who has authored real designs and the seen them implemented know the difficulty in taking paper to reality. In any case the operational costs dwarf the design and building costs.

Those who have no experience in the operation of complex systems are simply unable to grasp the nature of the cost structure.

I see you comments as simplistic and foolish as what you say and how you say it suggests no life experience in life cycle of complex technical systems.
