Nice spin/evasion attempt, but Bush lied to us and misled us into a quagmire, and everyone knows it. You'd have to be a real dittohead not to admit the obvious. And nobody cares if Hillary Clinton was worried about Saddam. After all, she got the same phony sexed-up WMD intelligence Bush was showing the UN. Bolton and Cheney were the specialists in faking intel.

Bottomline, Saddam did not have anything to do with 9-11, did not have nukes or WMD's stockpiles and wasn't even in our Top Five threats. He was in a box with no air force being inspected daily by the UN experts. He was making nasty noises but doing nothing.

Bush should never have invaded without, at least, a very well thought out post-invasion plan complete with peace-keepers, and a new military and government. Bush also should not have lied to us, juiced up intel and let his people make all those phony promises to us.

Bush rushed into this war. He used it to steal the midterm elections by exaggerating the immediate threat of Saddam, exploiting 9-11 and its victims in the process, then invaded about seven months later. It was not "15 months". It was done as fast as humanly possible consider all the logistics. And as recklessly as possible.
