Free elections would be fine if the result would be to hand over full power to them to establish a Pan Islam Sharia state in the Middle East - for a starter. If not, back to the bombing!

But who do you think they would bomb? It would become the Muslims internal affair at that point. If Egyptians vote not to form such a state in a free and fair election, there is no reason to blow up a car bomb in Edinburgh.

The radical fidels analyzed the situation already, how come they were left so far behind the West during the past 700 years?

What? Speaka da English! Is a 'fidel' the opposite of an 'infidel'? If so, I like it. We will no longer call them Muslims, we will call them 'fidels!'

Where we see a fraction of a promille of theirs qualifying as such they see all of us and many of their own being vermin and roaches and thus to be terminated.

Promille? Is that some linewidth of copper PVD/CVD deposition term?

The point of Democratizing the ME is that the battle becomes one between fidels, and we infidels are no longer involved.

Frankly, I can relate to a fidel's disgust that Western powers are supporting the endless, unproductive regime of Muabarak, for example. He hasn't improved the lot of Egyptians in 20+ years of rule, I think he is extremely unpopular, so the US should tell him to get the hell out of office and let some new leadership take a crack it.

We can't have our cake and eat it to. We can't say Saudi individuals deserve equality and the right to pursue happiness, but also have our so called allies give 100% of their natural resources to one family that rules because the have our military backing as opposed to the support of their general population (hello Saudi). Why should we support a family of 30k people exploiting a population of 18 million that may not even want that family in charge? When we choose our allies, choose a system (Democracy) that we can support, not am authoritarian dictatorship that leads its people because it owns the guns.
