Scientists know that the "4 billion" estimate is just a WAG, but if you're really interested in learning more, I can point you in the right direction. There's books, there's magazines, there's videotapes, there's museums, name your favorite method of absorbing new information! How old are your grandchildren? They might be able to teach grandpa some new tricks.
