Ray ROFL..that would be a steer nose! LOL On the lead edge of the stair tread (where you step) a bullnose is the rounded edge of that tread. I guess you could call them a stair nose or stair facing, but I've always called them bullnose. Like a rounded edged tile is also called bullnosed, or bullnosed coping at a pools edge. Ken
