I believe in capitalism but I don't believe you have the right to poison other people's drinking water World wide, the worst environmental degradation has happened in Marxist/socialist countries. When property belongs to everybody, it belongs to nobody. South America has this combination of Spanish Feudalism/socialism as a social structure that seems to be immune to letting a decent government exist. It looked like they were going to get out of this problem in the '90's, but no such luck. I thought the article you were responding to was very perceptive.
