What a joke our "free and responsible" media has become! One would think that such reportage is most appropriate when the people can use it to make an informed decision and NOT after the fact...but I guess "responsible" reporting means journalism when it yields no material effects. :(


I found that this sort of thing was worse in France.

Another issue is if you do come out with such a sensitive story right near the elections, you *really* need to have the facts straight. Can you imagine the fallout if the information was not accurate and it did impact the election ?
