Take, as an example, C2, who posted this week that he speeds without fear, gets speeding tickets, but never a conviction.

What I neglected to say was that I have always had fast cars, have driven fast all my life, that my last accident, a minor fender-bender, took place about 30 years ago, and that I don't feel constrained by speed limits because I consider myself an extremely skilled driver having been blessed with very good hand eye coordination. When I speed I do so observing things which are taking place at the outer edges of my perception. This is the key to safe speeding. It gives me plenty of time to respond to danger. I never speed when doing so would be dangerous to anyone. And I do know that speed limits are set at levels which are appropriate for the vast majority of drivers--I'm not one of them, so I make my own rules.

A hint: my clean as a whistle driving record is often a huge factor in helping me get out of tickets, not some Third World payola delusion you seem to think is in place.
