Rove is being investigated by a federal grand jury at the insistence of the CIA for outing a covert CIA operative for malicious reasons. In these cases, where the culprit denies something to an FBI officer or under oath, perjury or obstruction of justice is usually the trap they fall into. From all accounts, it appears Rove both leaked the name and lied about it. Therefore, if CBS runs a story that suggests that it is totally honest. It is also the same story many others are running because it is accurate. Why would anyone blame CBS for what's happening to Rove? That is his own damn fault. And in the process of outing the CIA officer, Rove clearly intended to manipulate the media. It is Rove who is trying to spin. CBS is irrelevant to this case. You rightwingers have to stop blaming the media for your own corruption. If anything, the media has been too easy on you guys. Your corruption is rampant yet the rightwing congress has stonewalled all self-policing investigations. So corruption breeds even more corruption.
