As I said before, I don't run red lights on purpose.

I was reflecting the other day on that discussion (while sitting at a red light) and I got to wondering how one could run a red light without knowing it. I can't imagine not knowing it unless maybe you're driving on autopilot and not paying attention generally. Any thoughts?
