Kosan Biosciences to offer 4.5 million shares Thu Aug 4, 2005 08:10 PM ET NEW YORK, Aug 4 (Reuters) - Kosan Biosciences Inc. (KOSN.O: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Thursday it plans to offer 4.5 million common shares under an existing shelf registration statement. Kosan said it expects underwriters will be granted an over-allotment option for 675,000 additional shares. Credit Suisse First Boston is acting as sole book-running manager of this offering, with SG Cowen & Co. and CIBC World Markets Corp. acting as co-managers, the company said in a statement
