Re the SF....I can well imagine that Patriotism and working with their Team is a great reason they stay in... But I was talking about when they retire. Their bodies may not be as they were when they were younger, but their minds are most probably even better....Years of experience does that to a person. It would be my guess that these folks have so much to offer, and that most of them, after the 3 month cruise, and the garage is cleaned, plus general relaxation for a year or so, will get bored, and want more from their life. The USA still needs them because of their capability. The question is, do they themselves know it, and does the Military and the Congress know it?
