CNN FLAP [Kate O'Beirne] Being accused by James Carville of spinning to advance your side is understandably tough to take. Conservative guests on Crossfire couldn't count on Bob Novak being on their side, while Carville and Begala were always reliably in the tank for liberal guests. Any fair observer will allow that Bob Novak criticizes Republicans and Democrats alike when he disagrees with them. Having spent 10 years on Capital Gang with him, I note that Bob seemed happiest when he was taking on me, the White House, the Defense Department, the Republican party, or the conservative movement.
