Dr. Novak:

(1) There are a lot of people with degenerative disks.

(2) Surgeons love to do surgery (total cost for one of these is around $45,000.)

(3) Spinal fusion appears to help a lot of people.

(4) This technology promises to offer a better spinal fusion technology.

(5) Spine-Tech appears to have excellent technological and managerial talent.

(6) This could be a $500M market in 2000. Market cap is now around $200M. There will be at least two other competitors. Spine-Tech looks to shape up well against the competition and will be first to market.

(7) If this is a successful technology they are likely to be bought out.

Please give me some negatives as to why I shouldn't buy. Down 2 points in the last 2 days. Is there more? I'd like to buy in at about 12.

Thanks.

Bruce
