Let's be fair. The Glenrothes '74 has been praised in many magazines and sprits newsletters as being among the best single malts ever. And many distilleries, such as Glenrothes, The Maccallan, etc have just started releasing 30 year old vintages for the first time. So there is excitement among conneisseurs. The demand well exceeds the 4-5K bottles shipped to the US this year.
