DOD end of June strength numbers just posted. No news release yet. DOD active duty strength increased 3,291 in June to 1,390,765. That is exactly 41,048 fewer troops on active duty than we had one year ago. June is traditionally the best month for inductions...IMO the numbers (though higher for June) remain terrible. The number of Reservists and NG on active duty has increased 2,122 in the past 2 weeks.
