I'm intellectually curious and love to find out about new things, books, ideas, theories, etc. I think that blind patriotism is stupid and very dangerous. I do everything I can to keep Feelies a place for very open discussion. American history is a very important subject. I wish more people studied it seriously. I think if more people understood that America is no more perfect than any other place, and does as many things right AND wrong as other countries do, and always has, we might reflect a bit and realize that an informed public guiding policy in an open society is a positive.
I encourage everyone who posts here to post interesting articles, and I place no limitations on them except the basic TOU ones. They can be liberal, conservative, whatever. I often post things here as I am reading them on the web. I really have no idea what else to say.
