You have a security and "insurance" that the illegals don't have. Some gung-ho INS chap isn't going to cuff you into a van tomorrow morning. He may not put the illegals in one either, but when they go to bed tonight, they're not entirely sure. Maybe the next day, who knows? "I can not understand what benefit I got by taking the legal route, to become a naturalized citizen."
