Elroy, I wrote: "The ones living in Australia want to get out. I lived in Bangkok and the amount of Aussies there and the ones that I talked to and want to get out is quite high. Too much taxes!"

Ralph wrote: "EVERYONE wants to live there."

My statement that there are people who want to leave Australia was classifed as: "absolutely the most ludicrous statement I have EVER heard. I've been their 8 times for long stretches and think I know what I'm talking about."

Then I proved that the Aussies are leaving in droves.

I didn't dispute that there is a lot of people who wants to immigrate to Australia.

Australia is almost the size of Brazil. Brazil has 8.512.000 Km2. Australia has <30 million inhabitants.

Australians pat their own back and see their country ad God's own and over rate it a lot. Then the Aussie government discovers that the number of Aussies emigrating (or buggering off like my Aussie mates would say) raised 30%.

Going that way the place will be left back to the cangaroos without people migrating to the place. hence they pretty soon start escorting those desperadoes boat people into a harbour.

Let me know if you need more clarifications on this issue.
