Never helped someone get a deferment he didn't really merit in order to avoid the draft? Never drove in excess of the speed limit? Never took a pregnant girl out of state to get an abortion in the days before Roe v. Wade? Never gave shelter to a Guatemalan refugee who was running away from the Death Squads? Never rode in the back of the bus with black people before integration? Never even gave water to a Mexican illegal dying of thirst in the desert? Astonishing . . . .
