And I've been telling you for years why it's been going up. The world is getting crowded with money, wealthy people, and people wanting to own a home in the U.S., including those coming from other countries--everyone from wealth Europeans and Saudis to the Central Americans and Cubans.

The guy who used to cut my hair was a Cuban refugee who owned his own upscale hair-cutting emporium and simultaneously owned a rather expensive house in an upscale section of Falls Church, VA, where the residents have lake privileges. He left his shop for a while to rescue a Cuban sister via boat from Cuba to Florida.

By the way, the land boom in your state did NOT originate with Clinton's tax break. It started, and proceeded with great bursts at certain times, many decades ago. History books contain the information.
