The rich getting a larger share of the pie does not equal the rich taking from the non-rich.

If you recieve a huge raise then you have "a bigger share", but you didn't take anything from me.


If the wealthys' share is growing faster than the pie is growing, then the wealthy are taking from the less fortunate. And that's exactly what has happened in the US over the past 20 years. So there is no need to discuss this issue further. The problem now is how to stop the rich from taking from the poor.
