My take on the NYT and the WaPo is that they ATTEMPT to present unbiased news, and have a tradition of presenting facts. The Washington Times and Fox News present deliberately slanted news as unbiased, which is a lie. In doing so they create doubt about the MSM news sources that ATTEMPT to be unbiased, and all news. I can only think of a very few publications, mostly magazines, that push news that is purposely left-leaning.
