Most people and all objective data disagree with you. My 1987 Nissan Pathfinder has 4wd low and can lock all wheels - those are old technology. Jeeps are only mediorcre compared to the Japanese competition. From the sound of it, you've never owned a Japanese offroad vehicle, so, you have no real basis of comparison. I've owned a Jeep, American cars and trucks, German cars and Japanese cars and trucks. The Japanese make the highest quality vehicles today.
