Yeah, I'd say your 15 years of driving Jeeps renders you partisan. They ARE cheaper. As for Jeeps being better for the readers of this thread, I recommend Japanese, as does all the objective data. 280k is pretty normal these days for a well maintained vehicle. The Pathfinder has 240k, and is also "going strong", just as I'd EXPECT it to. As you pointed out, it's not even ON THE LIST of Consumer Report's most reliable SUVs, as your Jeep wasn't. Apparently, objectively, they're BOTH mediocre.
