If you spend any time in Virginia court records from about 200 - 250 years ago, it becomes clear that the lack of cash money was a great hardship, especially when people died and their heirs had to settle their estates.

We are so much more fortunate now that we can easily monetize our fixed assets.

I truly believe that this is the greatest source of wealth -- because it takes money to make money.
