Really was. I didn't want to leave the river, but I had a date to escort my wonderful, elderly neighbor friend to a 50th wedding anniversary celebration for the couple Wang in China town tonight.

The couple got a commendation plaque from the Seattle City Council and I sat at the table with a man that is running for a city council seat. The Dean adoration going around the table, and his (Dwayne Peltz??) bragging about all the money available from the city.....as opposed to the county.......where he could do allot of "good work" almost made me lose my appetite. When his wife told me that she had been a delegate for Dean during the primaries......"I'm not a Bushie"......I told her in no uncertain terms that I had voted for the President and was proud of it. Kind of shut down the political talk, thankfully. -gg-

Did experience the most incredible meal I've ever had. Including jellyfish, duck, abalone and sea cucumber. Along with other goodies like walnuts and prawns and broiled lobster.

Am I ever stuffed.
