Both of those posts ended up making fun of something, in this case Indians and animals. If some Indian tribes want to participate in American sports rituals and have teams named after them, that's fine. In Florida, I believe that is the case. But it should be voluntary (and I hope the Indians make a lot of money from the deal). And I don't think any jokes about animals are funny at this point, because they make it easier for us to torture and kill them for food. I realize I have fairly strong opinions on the issues of animals and Indians. I have just no sense of humor about them at all. And in general, my own opinion is--the more PC, the better, until the most egregious kinds of sexism and racism and basic stupid insensitivity are all gone from American culture.
