I have to assume this is more propaganda from cnn liberal reporters against the war in Iraq.

Everybody has to be against the war. If I remember correctly, conservatives are supposed to be against us being involved in foreign wars. Foreign nation building is not our job.

Both liberals and conservatives have different views on how and why we got into this war, but no one is for us pulling out of Iraq and having Iraq go into chaos. That is not a liberal position.

Everybody has to be against the war. Everybody is looking to get out of this war as gracefully as possible.

Everytime we go into an area looking to kill insurgents in Iraq, it is quite natural (as far as these things go) that innocent people are going to be hurt and killed. Innocent people are going to be unfairly interrogated. Some of the people that were neutral in their feelings about us are going to change their minds. We have to udnerstand the nature of this war. We have to understand the consequences of our actions.

No one is blaming (no sensible people anyway) our military. They are risking their lives to do their job. We all feel badly for the relatives of our soldiers that are wounded and killed. But, how do you draw the line and not feel badly for the civilian Iraqi's killed and their families.

one of the reasons we are there is to help the Iraqi's from being brutalized by their own (Saddam Hussein) people.
