The gas price went up 60 percent in 18 months during the Clinton admin leading up to when Bush had to take this problem over. It was a Bosnia deal... Just go back and look at pricing. Your comments are neither wanted or true. Gas gouging started the day Bush-Cheney were nominated. Yes, Clinton was still the lame duck prez for another 6 months, but thanks to Bushie-Enron deregulation the prez has/had little power to crack down on collusion gouging, especially since such an investigation would require cooperation from the energy business.
