Gas prices started spiking the day after Bush-Cheney were nominated. They didn't stop until the day after Jeffords switched parties giving Dems subpoena powers in the senate. Then after the midterms when Bushies took back the senate they started spiking again. Clearly, the collusion and energy gouging is deliberate and dependent upon being above the law. Bush-Cheney will never investigate or crack down because they very much want high energy prices. In fact it's their #1 priority.
