It seems to be that there are secrets that you can't tell anybody who is not a Mason, but that doesn't make sense because the only secrets you can't keep from the priests are sins It's probably because of the Rites. Masons are similar to Rosicruceans and other "magic" secret societies, many based on Jewish mysticism - tree of life, etc. Lots of interesting study there for someone curious about religious belief and practice.
