Good to see you are still kicking. The BIG ( Bone Injection Gun), Surefast, Jimashadi needle are not serious competitors especially in the miltary market. The BIG is used in all big bones except the sternum: Tibia, humerous, ankle or wrist another words extremites so the indusion rate is much slower than the sternum and their infusion rate is much slower. The preferred site is the sternum as the blood. The other devices can not be used in the sternum because they do not have depth control and over penetration of the sternum could penetrate the heart resulting in instant death.

The BIG uses a hellenic spring for thrust and it sounds like a 22 pistol so it would give away you position to the enemy. In the Testing done at Walter Reed hostipal by Major Mark Caulkins the BIG finished well behind the FAST1 with the 30 medics that were included in the testing.

Veritas are you holding or just stirring the pot for fun? As I remember you have made several posts that play devils advocate. Anyway good to hear from you. I wish I could find my post addressing the so called competition was but it was so long ago it does not show on my profile page.
