Thanks for the reply. No investment property, just the home on
the west coast with manageable 30 yr fixed (looking at the way
the dollar is getting devalued against major currencies and the
very low once in a generation rates, my thinking was to get 30
yr fixed) 5.5% mortgage. I was wondering if there was something
like cheap LEAP puts I could buy as insurance in case my home
value goes down significantly. I don't want to sell the home and
move into rental house/apartment since I may not be able to
time the real estate crash.
