Wait till next time? I can't wait. Aren't you seeing the opinion polls? People are finally tiring of the lies regarding this war. The American public is now soundly against this war. Bush's approval ratings are in unchartered low terroritory. What exactly are you excited about 2006?!? As it stands now, Bush and the Republicans are going to take a beating next year, as voters punish them for this misguided war. That might change, but the Pentagon just announced they are sending even more troops to Iraq until the end of the year, fearing more insurgent attacks with elections coming later this year. What's that going to do for Bush's approval rating? The negative feeling about the War in Iraq might provide enough impetus to actually change Congress in 2006 to Democratic. Watershed elections that change Congress occur when there is an issue to rally around. The War in Iraq might just be that issue. Conservatives are traditionally suspect of government, why are modern conservatives like yourself so trusting in government?
