kholt, Alcohol affects some people differently than others. When I was having my problems with demon rum, the rule of thumb was that 10% of adults became alcoholics, 10% were physically allergic to it, and the middle 80% were considered social drinkers. I doubt that those numbers are truly accurate at this time.

Once a person has become alcoholic, one drink will send him off to the races, and his only hope is to avoid even that one drink. I had a special incentive that stopped me in my tracks, and haven't had a drop since 97. Now, the whole world looks different, and better.
