Putting DSL and cable-modem service on equal footing promotes both competition and investment Yeah, if you're comparing competition between monopolistic industries, sure. The problem with the market is that the ILECs (the Bells) now have no internal-market competitors. The CLECs are effectively shut out of the market. And it's been the CLECs that have driven down prices and spurred DSL growth. We shall see. Derek
