Saddam was put into power by the CIA. Coddled and aided in a war against Iran. He got out of hand in 92 and was crushed and contained. Ergo no threat to the US. Al Qaeda was created, funded and supported by the CIA for the war against the Soviets in Afghanistan. I'm not sure if Al Qaeda is a renegade CIA project gone bad...or if it is still controlled by the CIA. All of this in conjunction with allies against the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan...Pakistan! Problems we are now facing are the result of past shortsightedness and greed by those in power. We need to turn away from such actions and begin on a new direction that upholds the sanctity of human life and the respect of other nations. Orca
