In fact, the problems are caused now, by murdering assholes who ought to learn "the sanctity of human life and the respect of other nations." It is THEY, not us, who need to turn away from "such actions." In a world of many evils, our prior actions sought to eliminate what we perceived as the worst of them. Our new direction is pointedly correct, once again. We DO intend, for instance, a new government in Iraq which "upholds the sanctity of human life" and respects "other nations."
