That's circular, I think. If he's in public doing something non-political, it doesn't matter. If he's in public talking dumb, they'll hear him talking dumb and discount it and him. So you gain nothing by alerting people that he talks dumb. Meanwhile you're giving him a broader stage for his dumb talk.
