Bad argument. It is common knowledge that rights are being curbed by the Patriot Act for the greater good but there is no 'means test' on guns? Technology? If that's the case I wish to own a gun whose laser cannon will vaporise my enemy ;). It sounds silly but I don't think the founding fathers envisioned a 50 calibre rifle that could fire a depleted uranium shell. Times change plain and simple.
