JCP, Those minor situations are nothing to worry about. You are right about cable having more problems than that. I don't have digital either, and don't need it until I get an HDTV wide screen.

To tell how weird cable can be, when they installed the cable in this subdivision, they put the cable in the oddest places. My cable went out recently with no indication that weather had anything to do with it, so they sent a tech out to check on it. He determined that the cable had been cut somewhere. Then I found out that the lead in to my house was buried underground with no protection, went under the fence in the back yard, and went through my neighbors entire yard to an underground box on the other street. Just how smart is that? Anything can happen in someone else's yard, and knock out my cable. What kind of deal is that? The word "stupid" comes to mind.
