2006 is not 2004. Don't look in the rear view mirror for guidance politically. Bush Sr, enjoyed 92% approval in 1991 after the Gulf War and lost an election a year later. The public is fickle. The mood of the country has changed. People think Iraq was a mistake and that we're moving in the wrong direction. Why is it that we use our miltary to invade other countries when we can't even secure our own southern border? That would be an appropriate use of our military. People are getting tired of the status quo and the Republicans are leaving the door wide open for a new vision to take this country in. I agree the Dems have to stay positive to win. Clinton was charismatic and positive.
