Patricia, I don't have an answer for you. I turn my system off every night and whenever I leave the house unless it is during market hours and I have streamers running. There is one thing about a computer that is turned off, it is secure! I have had experiences when I would be surfing and the system becomes unresponsive and I have to reboot. Is it the firewall? I don't know. Perhaps it is as they say, just Bill Gates making sure everyone knows how to use alt-ctrl-delete! If I had any system without a firewall, it certainly would be left on!
