I expressed concern for her struggle in doing that and offered two possible explanations for her ‘thought’ process. There is no doubt that her changing impressions are impacted by what is impressing her in the world. She would not have formed these polarized views of her experience in a vacuum after all. The left wing is definitely locked into a rigid set of standard positions. The people attracted to this thread are even more so since to qualify for membership you must agree to support any anti-bush statement. Souix has seen fit to allow me posting privileges as an exception. He and I have an honor bound pact to see it through as long as my postings remain reasoned. I have not singled out the left wing since I made clear that I see this phenomenon is occurring on both sides of the political spectrum. It goes without saying that it is a stereotype and not an individual characteristic. Liberal connotes an openness to ideas that is not bound by the authority of a political agenda, party, nation, dogma, familial loyalties, community mores etc. At least it engenders that frame of mind for me. The left wing has been tagged with the ‘Liberal’ label. Go visit Lazerous Long's thread if you doubt that and if you want to see how paradoxical that concept plays out in an unfettered forum. Subject 54350 I will support you, if you challenge them on the basis of sound reason and they bash you.
