Well I called Verizon FIOS - one thing bad about getting a spanking new service - all the technical people are green!
I explained the situation to them and the guy thought that maybe the reason the last router (linksys) didn't shutdown when idle but this one does is because ZA somehow recognized the MAC address of the linksys but doesn't with the d-link. I don't get that explanation at all. If the ZA doesn't recognize the MAC address how does it even work to begin with?
Does anyone agree with this and if so, is there a setting on ZA where I can get it to recognize the MAC address?
