At this rate, we might hit 2,000 deaths by the end of September. I think that will create a stir in the country with exposes and articles about the progress of the war. Rumsfeld is sending more troops towards the end of this year for the Iraqi elections and predicts even more U.S. causalities. How much longer will the American people stand for it? Public opinion is already turning against this war pretty strongly. It's not going to get any better by the end of the year.
