Democrats do better in western than southern states, but I think liberal judges really scare people. The Massachusetts Supreme Court made gay marriage an issue in the presidential election. Now the liberal side of the US Supreme Court has decided everybody's house is up for grabs. Believe it or not, out of step thinking like this hurts Democrats a lot.
