I voted for Reagan when he said 25 years ago that he would balance the budget and reduce the size of government. It used to be a plank in the Republican platform. Republicans don't want smaller government and balanced budgets any more than the Democrats. They lied to us in 1980 and they won't even mention it on the campaign trail today. They are all liars, every party and every politician.
