I have to add this though about gut feel vs. TA. There are times when it appears that TA seems to provide much more accurate information. If you have read Bob's messages both here and on the PSFT thread, his TA analysis seems to be accurate at least so far and especially with respect to short term price movement. If I had followed that instead of my own feel, I would have sold the Jan 55 calls I bought at 8 1/2 at 11 1/8 or 3/8. Then I could have bought them back today at a much lower price or maybe tomorrow even lower---who knows. Now consider that I'm the one who knows this company/stock and he is new and just looking at it objectively his way seems to make more money. This is what makes me so interested in TA--my feel for the stock differed from his TA so I followed my feel. But in all honesty I think some of my new feel was coming from my own TA which is currently useless. I will probably be ok in the long term(to me long term means next week<g>) but I could have traded these calls maybe several times in the interim.

I think you mentioned you follow ORCL. They will be announcing Q1 earnings this month. Do you think this is a good short term buy. Going to look at my chart right after this but more interested since there may be a run up prior to announcement which will not be reflected in my chart. And even if it was in my chart I don't know what I'm looking at anyway!
